Features
Optional LFE filter feature:
Users are now able to opt-out of the previously hard-coded 120 Hz low-pass filter in the LFE channel.The optional setting will be checked for every new filter design using BC and ART, so that a user may calculate and export Dirac Live filters with or without the low-pass filter.
When loading a project that was either created before this option was available, or, if it was set differently when originally saving the project, Dirac Live will apply the current setting and re-calculate the filters.
Find the new option in “Menu → Enable/Disable LFE low pass filter” when in “Filter Design” for “BC” or “ART” designs.
Bug fixes
Bass Control could leak bass content from main channels to subwoofers although the main channels were grouped as Unmanaged. Although the levels were very low and not audible, they could trigger subwoofers to go from standby to active.
Make ip autocomplete menu not cover input field
Workflow navigation track could sometimes skip ahead when it shouldn't.
Some users (a handful) have not been able to calculate features using saved project files in Dirac Live due to mismatching sample rates in the project and the connected device.
Fix loading snapshot when cache is rejected
Known issues
Connecting to legacy devices from Datasat and Quadral that depended on the legacy Dirac Live Calibration Tool is not yet supported.
Progress tracker can sometimes jump backwards.
The LFE Filter disable function doesn’t work for older BC enabled devices from Arcam, Onkyo. Pioneer and Integra. The option will still appear in the UI and the filter visualizations will indicate that the option works. This will be fixed in an upcoming release.
