Why is Multi Channel Stereo on my Denon/Marantz not working properly with BC or ART?

If the sound mode is set to Multi Channel Stereo, Denon/Marantz apply specific bass management. This means that BC and ART will not work.

The AVR applies the levels, crossovers and delay time calculated by Dirac Live for the playback.
