“After the settings restore on my Arcam AVR31 did not restore the Dirac filters, i had to send the filter settings to my device again. After loading the projectfile there was a "microphone not found" message and i was not able to go to the filter page in Dirac 3.3.3 on my windows 10 pc. Then i noticed i had used an different USB port before. After switching to this USB port, i was able to send the filter to my Arcam.
Why is it not possible to use any USB port for a transfer (no new measurement)?
Why is a microphone necessary at all for a transfer?”
TEST:
I could load the project and export a filter despite USB mic being connected on the opposite side. I got the warning below, but as you see, it says it succeeded to transfer the filter. I could even calculate a new Live filter based on existing measurements and transfer that as well.
I’m using Dirac Live v3.4.1.
So a warning is issued in the latest DL version but no problem exporting a filter even if we changed the USB port on the computer.
