Subwoofer not outputting sound in stereo mode

Have a look at the settings of your AVR/DAC

In most cases, the subwoofer should output sound when playing 2.0 stereo source material. Please make sure that your AVR or DAC/amplifier has been configured correctly to output sound to the subwoofer even in a 2 channel environment.
