Bug fixes
Dirac Live versions later than 3.4.4 have sometimes shown inconsistency between the predicted Dirac Live Bass Control (DLBC) response and validation measurements made using 3rd party tools, such as REW, on some devices from the Arcam AV and AVR lines. An error was located in the Bass Control filter export procedure, causing some phase correction filters to be populated by default “flat” coefficients instead of the optimized ones. This fix enables use of the full DLBC topology and shows high consistency with properly made validation measurements. We recommend Arcam users with these devices to re-export their DLBC filter using this update. *(DS-1814)
We have fixed the problem where ART filters could not be exported for a 2.0.0 channel configuration. *(LIVE-4612)
An issue has been fixed where the default support speaker assignment in ART could include speakers that had been tagged as excluded from support. *(DS-1889)
Fix Dirac Live app crashing when returning to volume calibration after filter export. *(DS-1877)
Minor UI and app issues have been addressed and fixed. *(APP-510, APP-521, APP-540)
Features
ART support range is now constrained so that a speaker group cannot give support outside of its active range (the “self-support” range). *(APP-221)
The detected range of a supporting speaker group is now highlighted in the Filter Design view when hovering over the support range slider. Right-clicking the slider will open an option to reset the support range to its default setting, which is the detected range. *(APP-496)
Known issues
Progress tracker can sometimes jump backwards. *(LIVE-4356)
