If you've used the Room Correction Suite desktop app before, you've already seen the name Dirac Live Processor. Starting 30 June 2026, that name is what we use everywhere else: on the website, in the store, and across our documentation. The label "Room Correction Suite" / "RCS" is going away. This is a naming alignment, not a new product.
The bigger news for existing users is what's new inside DLP: Active Room Treatment (ART) is now available as a feature in the desktop app.
What this means for you
Nothing you've set up needs to change.
Your license is unaffected. Existing RCS licenses are valid for DLP. No action is needed.
Your measurements carry over. Calibrations you've made continue to work.
The workflow is the same. Measure, calibrate, and listen. Same Dirac Live process.
System support is unchanged. DLP runs on the same platforms.
Dirac Help Center articles referring to RCS are being updated. The product they describe is DLP.
If you had RCS installed, the application was already named DLP, so there’s no change for you. If you're not sure you're on the latest version, head to the downloads page.
What's new: ART in DLP
Active Room Treatment (ART) is Dirac's most advanced room correction technology. Previously available only through select hardware partners, ART is now a feature inside DLP for desktop users.
To purchase ART for DLP, follow link here: Computer audio - Dirac.
ART uses the same measurement workflow as standard Dirac Live, with additional measurement points. See the Dirac Live microphone placement guide for the procedure.
